Rami D. Fakhoury, JD

Rami D. Fakhoury is a practicing attorney specializing in employment immigration, particularly in the Information Technology industry, and International Law. Mr. Fakhoury has extensive experience in the areas of Immigration, and has worked in private firms, as well as serving as In-House Counsel for Syntel Corporation, a major company in the Information Technology industry. In particular, his practice focuses on H, L, E, and O visas, Labor Certifications, Advance Degree Professionals, Multinational Executives and Outstanding Researchers and Professors. Rami is a frequent speaker on immigration and international law at conferences around the world. Rami holds a B.S. degree in Finance and Economics from Wayne State University and a JD from Michigan State University. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, International Law Section, American Immigration Lawyer's Association, and Congress of Fellows of the Center for International Legal Studies, Salzburg, Austria. He is also a member of various trade associations.

Rami Jandali, DMD, MS

Rami Jandali is the League's treasurer, director of the Prosthodontic Residency Program at the Detroit VA Medical Center, and Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor School of Dentistry. He also maintains a private practice limited to implant esthetic and reconstructive dentistry. Rami is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. His specialty training includes a porsthodontic residency from the University at Buffalo School of Dentistry and a fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics from the Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York. Rami is an active member of several professional organizations.

Osman Minkara

Osman R. Minkara is founder and Managing Principal of Capital Investment Group. Since it inception in 1997, Osman has turned the firm into a substantial niche player in asset management and financial services. Currently, Capital Investment Group manages over $85 million in assets for over 1,000 clients.

Osman serves on multiple boards including Oakland County (Michigan) Economic Roundtable, and Wayne State University Executive Board. Osman has a BS- Magna Cum Laude in Finance from Wayne State University, AMP from the University of Oxford, and earned his Executive MBA from New York University, London School of Economics and HEC.

Osman has earned multiple awards in the last few years including WSU Emerging Corporate Leader and Detroit Crain 40 under 40 (top 40 executives in Michigan under 40 years of age). In addition, he has been interviewed on financial matters by multiple media outlet including CBS and ABC

Adnan Munkarah, MD.

Adnan Munkarah is the League's chairman of the board, associate professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wayne State University, and director of the Gynecologic Oncology division at the Karmanos Cancer Institute. After completing his medical studies at the American Univeristy in Beirut, Adnan moved to the USA to pursue postgraduate training in internal medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology. He is a member of a number of professional and honor societies, and serves on national medical committees. Adnan has been a speaker at national meetings on gynecologic cancer and is the recipient of a number of prestigious awards including the Jesse Jones research Award, the APGO teaching award and Best Doctors in America 2005. In addition to his medical training, he has attended the leadership development program for physicians at Harvard School of Public Health.

Ibrahim S. Nassar, PE.

Ibrahim S. Nassar, is the League's secretary, a registered professional engineer in the State of Michigan, and project manager at Malcolm Pirnie, Inc, a national consulting firm ranked among the top ten consulting firms in the USA. Ibrahim holds a BS Degree in Civil Engineering from Columbia University and a Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University. He specializes in planning and design of municipal water and wastewater treatment plants. Ibrahim is an elected member of Tau Beta Pi engineering honors society and is an active member of the Water Environment Federation and the American Society of Civil Engineers. Ibrahim is the author of several publications/presentations in the field of water and wastewater treatment and provides training in the operation of wastewater treatment plants. He currently serves as the secretary of the League for Economic Empowerment.

Nabil A. Raad, MBA

Nabil A. Raad is a portfolio risk manager with Ford Motor Company's finance arm. Nabil's experience ranges from executive level positions in IT, Finance, and Banking. Nabil has extensive experience in consumer banking where he was a key player in several strategic transformation initiatives at Citibank. He also has extensive experience in quality improvement efforts ranging from the Baldrige award to six-sigma. Teaching is also a prominent part of Nabil's experience having held several university faculty positions. Nabil is a graduate of Texas State University and a Ph.D. candidate specializing in System Dynamics. Nabil is a member of several national organizations and is an active community support participants.

Samir F. Zakaria, DDS., MSD.

Samir F. Zakaria, is a dental surgeon and maintains a full time private practice limited to Periodontics and Dental implant. Samir received his Certificate in Periodontics, and Master of Science in Dentistry from Indiana University, School of Dentistry. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Detroit-Mercy. Samir is a State Board Certified Periodontist as well as a Diplomate of the American Board Of Periodontology. He is one of the very few Periodontists in the greater Detroit area, as well as in the state of Michigan to have earned the title of Diplomate in addition to his state board certification. Samir is also an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Detroit-Mercy, School of Dentistry. Samir, is an Active member of many professional organizations, and very active on the lecture circuit.
